I spotted today these anti-government rally supporters at Pratunam, Bangkok City selling rally paraphernalia such as whistle and flags. My wife and I are in Bangkok to replenish Happy Stripe's stock.
The huge anti-government rally was building-up at the corner of Petchburi and Ratchaprarop intersection. The place is considered as the shopping Mecca of Bangkok City. From here, it seems the rallyists will proceed to Victory Monument.
The rally has become a tourist attraction as countless of kibitzers and foreign tourists have their pictures taken with the on-going anti-government activity. Nevertheless, it is business as usual in this area. We arrived at 6 pm yesterday and found the place in normal situation which means that the rally stopped after office hours.
