Xtremely Xpresso Cafe, Subic Bay Freeport, Olongapo City

Usually, before we visit a place, we include in our preparation the place where we can comfortably dine. Oftentimes we prefer to go foodie rather than simply filling our tummy.

Hence, before we left for our Subic road trip we planned to have our lunch at Xtremely Xpresso Cafe along Dewey Avenue at Subic Bay Freeport Zone and have a taste of their famous Big Ben Pizza.

The place wasn't difficult to find as long as you have the city map provided by the tourist information desk at Total Gas Station right after SCTex exit.

The place was half-full when we arrived and fortunately there was a space for our family car at the parking area.

You may dine Al Fresco style outside but since we arrived at mid day we preferred to eat inside. Immediately we asked for their famous Big Ben Pizza while my daughter added Mango Crepes for dessert.

Nothing extraordinary though about their flavored drinks with whipped cream.

Big Ben Pizza Xtreme

Their 22 inches Big Ben Pizza Xtreme was really awesome in size, in fact I needed to fold each slice so it would be accommodated on the plate.

Folded Pizza Slice

Like any pizza, our Big Ben was served hot on top of a pizza stand. However, after consuming a slice we have concluded instantly that its bread or dough was a let down. It was chewy or rubbery especially when it cooled down. It seemed they used pure wheat for their pizza dough. However, I can attest that their toppings were impressive and quite tasty. Slices of black olives and other meat ingredients were generously distributed on top of thick mozzarella cheese. The entire pizza was able to satisfy our hunger.

Regarding their superb mango crepes, it was so mouth watering thus I was tempted to have a bite; I am not fond of eating dessert actually. The sweet mango filling complimented the delicious crepes.

Though we were not fully satisfied with its Big Ben Pizza it was still an experience to remember eating in Subic's famous and affordable Euro style restaurant. Given a chance, we would come back to this place to have a taste of their pasta and their equally renowned cafes.

You can also enjoy Xtremely Xpresso Cafe at their other two branches at SM City Clark and Angeles, Pampanga.
