Vizco's Restaurant and Bake Shop, Baguio City

The day after Christmas, we celebrated our eldest 23rd birthday at Vizco’s Restaurant and Cake Shop along Session Road, Baguio City.

Sadly, upon our arrival, their last 8 inches Strawberry Shortcake has been reserved through phone call. With a heavy heart, we gazed on it while being removed from their glass display counter. We inquired for other sizes but that was their last piece of Strawberry Shortcake according to our food server.

6 inches Red Velvet

Fortunately, Vizco's also offer other fancy cake flavors thus, we asked for our favorite red velvet cake with a complimentary small candle.

Small serving but Saucy Carbonara

For lunch, we ordered their 14 inches Cheese Burger Pizza and Carbonara. Well, I can vouch that their pizza is truly cheesy but lacking in ingredients. However, it was compensated by their saucy and tasty Carbonara; we tried their house blend Iced Tea as well but nothing spectacular about this drink. Aside from a la carte menu Vizco’s also serves set meals.

a couple of ladies beside us were having a birthday celebration too
Their price is in mid-range especially the cake. The service is fast but nothing especial about the ambiance. Don’t expect some fancy décor or interior since this place became famous because of their Strawberry shortcake and not for any other reasons.

I strongly recommend this place for non-Baguio city dwellers. You’ll get your money’s worth and if you are lucky you’ll have a taste of their famous Strawberry Shortcake too.

As expected at any shops along Session Road, it is difficult to find parking space near the place you want to visit.
