Malaysia - Berjaya Times Square Mall

Berjaya Times Square Mall is the largest building ever built in single phase in Malaysia. It has twin towers, shopping mall and five star hotel. It is presently considered as fifth largest building in the world in floor area while its shopping mall currently ranks as 13th biggest in the world (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berjaya_Times_Square)

The KL monorail Imbi station is connected to its mall by footbridge.

 Outside shots

Due to Diwali festival, this colorful decoration can be seen at the entrance. I don't know the exact details but it seems it was made of colored grains of sands and adorned with flowers. It was artistically done and I can't find exact words to describe it. You can find the same decoration at Sungei Wang Plaza but the grandeur of this one was beyond compare.

CENTRAL AREA

Upon entering, one can easily say that this mall is really huge and the main entrance hall ceiling is quite high. You can literally put a 4-storey building inside the main hall..

SOME SHOPS AT CENTRAL ZONE

FOOD COURT AT LOWER GROUND FLOOR

EAST ZONE

AMPANG INDOOR BOWLING ALLEY

STARS INDOOR ARCHERY RANGE

 THEME PARK

The theme park occupies several floors and it is beside the indoor archery range and bowling alley.

I run out of time thus I wasn't able to explore the west zone. You can also find 9 cinemas and other places of interest such as IT centre which occupy 3 floors, the cold storage at ground floor and FOS (Factory Outlet Store) to name a few.

Indeed, this is one huge building. I just wander whether all shops are earning due to less crowd and its proximity to other cheaper malls such as Sungei Wang Plaza. However, you will find everything you need in this shopping mall hence BTSM is being true to its tagline, It's All in the Square.
